The first and only sneaker publication in Vietnam at present.
THE CONTEMPORARY CULTURE is the main theme of this publication. The contemporary culture that the SNKRVN team wants to discuss here is the connection between sneaker communities, sportswear, hip hop, rap, street art, and underground culture. These cultural communities have a clear influence and connection with each other, contributing to shaping the lifestyle of today's youth.

Negative film
Negative film and sneakers are definitely not related. It's a bit personal, but I have a passion for using film cameras and have experienced various film development techniques. To the inexperienced eye, all film photos may look the same, and the results are undoubtedly fantastic. I can immediately recognize which type of film was used (kodak color, Ektar, portra...).
Similarly, the sneaker community in Vietnam is like that. How outsiders perceive it is just a group of people who love sneaker culture. In SNKRVN vol 02, I bring more messages and expand the categories, culture, art, lifestyle, technical aspects, and more.
The Past – The Present – The Future
Contemporary culture is the fusion of heritage from the PAST, which inspires the emergence of sneakers in the PRESENT, and a FUTURE vision applied to the NOW. Sneaker designs that embody historical value and unique design philosophy include: the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” 2018, Converse x Virgil Abloh Chuck 70, adidas Ultra BOOST OG, and Nike Air Plus OG. The spirit of “The Present” is reflected in designs such as the Undercover x Nike React Element 87, Afew x BEAMS x Asics Gel-Lyte III “Orange Koi”, and also in sneakers created by Vietnamese hands that have built their brands thoughtfully—like “Một” and Rienevan.
